Sondre Guttormsen

Sondre Guttormsen is a Norwegian pole vaulter who represented Norway in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. He is the current national record holder with 5.81 (19 feet) and an Indoor NCAA Champion. 

Sondre studies psychology at Princeton University.

Hi, my name is Sondre Guttormsen, I am 22 years old pole vaulter from Norway studying at Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey.

This is my story.

I was born in Davis, California on June 1st, 1999 because my mom and dad was living there while my dad was on sabbatical at UC Davis. However, I have lived most my life in Ski, Norway. Growing up right next to all the sports facilities it was only natural that I was active in all kinds of sports including handball, soccer, gymnastics, and track.
